# Privacy Policy
**Effective Date:** October 23, 2026
**Application:** Torqo
**Developer/Publisher:** KORE Tech
**Contact:** playconsole.kore@gmail.com
KORE Tech ("KORE Tech", "we", "us", or "our") operates the **Torqo** Android application ("Torqo" or the "App").
Torqo is a utility application that provides flashlight, strobe, SOS, compass, digital level, and magnetometer-based metal detector functionality.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is accessed, processed, transmitted, and shared when you use Torqo, including information processed by third-party advertising, mediation, and Firebase services included in the App.
We do not operate a Torqo user-account system and do not require you to provide your name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photographs, messages, or other personal information to use the App's core utility features.
However, Torqo uses third-party services that may automatically process certain device, advertising, technical, and network information. Accordingly, Torqo should not be understood as an application that transmits no information from the device.
---
## 1. Information Used by Torqo's Core Features
Torqo's primary utility functions use hardware and sensors available on your Android device.
Depending on the feature and the hardware available on your device, Torqo may access or process:
### Flashlight, Strobe, and SOS
Torqo uses the device's camera flash/flashlight hardware to provide:
- Normal flashlight mode
- Strobe mode
- SOS mode
The flashlight functionality controls only the flash/torch hardware. Torqo does not open the camera, does not capture photographs or videos, and does not request the Android camera permission.
### Compass
Torqo uses the device's magnetic-field sensor (magnetometer) and, where required by the implementation, other orientation-related sensors to calculate and display compass information.
### Digital Level
Torqo uses device motion/orientation sensors, such as the accelerometer and/or gyroscope where available and used by the App, to calculate the device's orientation and display a digital level.
### Metal Detector
Torqo uses the device's magnetometer/magnetic-field sensor to detect changes in magnetic-field strength and display them as a metal-detector reading.
Sensor readings used for these functions are processed locally on the device to provide the corresponding utility feature.
KORE Tech does not operate a cloud service that stores your compass readings, level readings, magnetometer readings, or flashlight activity.
Sensor streams are active only while the corresponding tool is on screen. They stop when you switch tools, open Settings, leave the App, or while a full-screen advertisement is displayed.
### Settings Stored on Your Device
Torqo stores a small number of preferences locally on your device using Android's standard app preferences storage:
- Dark mode on/off
- Haptic feedback on/off
- The time until which a "Remove Ads" reward keeps the App ad-free
- Whether the App has been opened before
- How many times the App has been started (used only so that new users do not see an advertisement when the App opens)
These preferences stay on your device. They are not sent to KORE Tech, and they are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
Torqo does not keep a local database of your activity. To limit the space used on your device, Torqo automatically deletes temporary cache files (such as cached advertisement content) that are older than three days, and keeps the App's cache below a fixed size.
---
## 2. Information Directly Collected by KORE Tech
KORE Tech does not require a Torqo account and does not intentionally collect personal information such as:
- Your name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Contacts
- Photos or videos
- Messages
- Passwords
- Payment information
- Precise GPS location
through the core utility functionality of Torqo.
Torqo also does not provide a user profile or account database.
This does **not** mean that no information leaves the device. Third-party advertising, mediation, and Firebase services included in Torqo may automatically transmit and process information as described below.
---
# 3. Advertising Services
Torqo displays advertisements using **Google AdMob**.
Torqo also uses AdMob mediation with one additional advertising partner:
- Unity Ads (Unity Technologies)
The currently resolved Android advertising SDKs used by the production dependency configuration provided to KORE Tech include:
- Google Mobile Ads SDK — 25.4.0
- Unity Ads SDK — 4.17.0
SDK behavior can change when SDK versions are updated. This Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated when material changes to the App's data practices occur.
Google's documentation for Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0 states that the SDK may automatically collect information including IP address, user interactions with the product, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers for purposes including advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
---
# 4. Information That Advertising SDKs May Process
When an advertisement is requested, displayed, measured, or interacted with, the advertising SDKs and mediation partners may process information such as:
- IP address
- Approximate/general location derived from IP address
- Advertising identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID where available and permitted
- Device and operating-system information
- Application/package information
- Advertising interaction information
- Information about advertisements displayed or interacted with
- Diagnostic information
- Performance information
- Fraud-prevention and security information
- SDK-related technical information
- Information required to deliver, measure, attribute, or limit advertising
The exact information processed may differ between advertising providers and may depend on the SDK version, mediation configuration, advertising request, user privacy choices, device settings, and applicable law.
KORE Tech does not manually enter this information into a Torqo user database.
---
# 5. IP Address and Approximate Location
Advertising and Firebase services may receive an IP address when the App communicates with their servers.
An IP address may be used by service providers to determine or estimate a device's general or approximate geographic location.
Torqo does **not** request Android location permission based on the Android manifest configuration provided to KORE Tech.
Torqo's core utility functions therefore do not require precise GPS location.
This distinction is important: an advertising provider may infer approximate location from network information such as an IP address even though Torqo does not request precise location permission.
Google's Mobile Ads documentation specifically identifies IP address and general location estimation among information handled by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
---
# 6. Advertising Identifiers
Advertising SDKs may use or process advertising identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, where available and permitted.
Advertising identifiers may be used by advertising providers for purposes such as:
- Delivering advertisements
- Personalizing advertisements
- Measuring advertising performance
- Attribution
- Frequency management
- Fraud prevention
- Security
- Reporting
The availability and use of advertising identifiers can depend on Android settings, the advertising SDK, user choices, applicable consent requirements, and applicable law.
Torqo does not use an advertising identifier as a Torqo login or account identifier.
---
# 7. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising
Torqo may display personalized advertisements where permitted by the applicable advertising platform, the user's privacy choices, and applicable law.
Personalized advertising may use information processed by advertising providers, which can include advertising identifiers, device information, advertising interactions, and approximate location.
Where personalized advertising is unavailable, restricted, or not permitted, advertising providers may serve non-personalized or contextual advertisements.
The availability and behavior of personalized advertising may differ by country, region, device, advertising provider, consent status, and advertising configuration.
Users can manage certain advertising and privacy controls through their Android device settings and Google's advertising/privacy controls.
Users may also be presented with privacy or consent choices where required by the applicable advertising system.
---
# 8. AdMob Mediation and Third-Party Advertising Partners
Torqo uses Google AdMob as its advertising platform and AdMob mediation to work with one additional advertising partner.
The only mediation partner currently included in Torqo is:
**Unity Ads** (Unity Technologies)
No other advertising network SDKs are included in the App. If another advertising partner is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that version of the App is released.
Google and Unity may process information through their respective SDKs when their services participate in advertising requests or related advertising operations.
KORE Tech does not control the independent privacy practices, retention periods, or processing systems of these companies.
Because advertising SDKs can change their data practices as their SDK versions are updated, users should also consult the respective providers' current privacy documentation.
Google Play requires developers to account for data collection and sharing performed by third-party SDKs included in an application.
---
# 9. Firebase Remote Config
Torqo uses **Firebase Remote Config** to remotely control certain application configuration, including whether advertising is enabled or disabled.
For example, KORE Tech may use Remote Config to determine whether advertisements should be displayed without requiring a new version of Torqo to be published.
Firebase Remote Config may automatically process information including:
- Country code
- Language code
- Time zone
- Android platform version
- Android operating-system version
- Firebase Android App ID
- Application/package name
- Firebase Remote Config SDK version
Firebase states that Remote Config uses this information for purposes such as targeting configuration parameters and operating, maintaining, and improving Firebase services.
Remote Config also depends on the Firebase Installations SDK, which is included transitively when Remote Config is used.
KORE Tech uses Remote Config for application configuration and advertising-control purposes. Remote Config is not used by KORE Tech to collect compass readings, magnetometer readings, flashlight activity, or digital-level measurements.
### Firebase Analytics
This Privacy Policy does **not** state that Torqo uses Firebase Analytics.
If Firebase Analytics is added to Torqo in the future, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosure will be reviewed and updated to account for the additional data processing.
---
# 10. Data Shared With Third Parties
Information may be transmitted from Torqo to third-party service providers when their SDKs perform their intended functions.
These third parties include:
### Google
Google services used by Torqo include:
- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform (the consent and privacy-options forms)
- Firebase Remote Config
- Google Play In-App Review (only when you choose "Rate" in Settings)
- Related Google/Firebase infrastructure required by these services
Google may process advertising, device, network, technical, configuration, and other information described in Google's applicable documentation.
### Unity
Unity Ads may process information through its advertising SDK when participating in Torqo's mediated advertising requests.
The third-party companies listed above operate their own services and privacy practices. Their processing may occur independently of KORE Tech.
KORE Tech does not sell users' personal information as a separate business activity.
---
# 11. App Interaction, Diagnostics, Crash, and Performance Information
Torqo's utility features do not intentionally collect analytics about compass use, metal-detector readings, level readings, or flashlight usage for KORE Tech.
However, third-party advertising and service SDKs may process technical information associated with application or advertising operation.
Depending on the applicable SDK and configuration, this may include:
- Advertisement views
- Advertisement interactions
- SDK events
- Application interaction information associated with advertising
- Diagnostic information
- Performance information
- Technical information
- Fraud-prevention information
- Error or crash-related information
Google's current Google Mobile Ads SDK documentation specifically identifies user product interactions and diagnostic information among the data that the SDK may collect automatically.
KORE Tech does not claim that every advertising partner collects every category listed above. The categories processed can vary by provider and SDK version.
---
# 12. Information Processed Locally vs. Information Transmitted
For clarity:
### Processed locally by Torqo
The following are used locally to provide the utility features:
- Magnetic-field/sensor readings used by the compass
- Magnetic-field readings used by the metal detector
- Motion/orientation sensor readings used by the digital level
- Flashlight hardware control
- Strobe/SOS operation
### May be transmitted off the device by third-party services
Advertising and Firebase services may transmit or receive:
- IP address
- Device/technical information
- Advertising identifiers
- Approximate location derived from network information
- Advertising interactions
- Diagnostic or performance information
- Firebase Remote Config information
- Other information required by the relevant third-party service
KORE Tech does not operate its own server that receives and stores the sensor readings used by Torqo's utility features.
### Privacy Policy page
When you open **Settings → Privacy Policy**, Torqo downloads the current text of this policy from KORE Tech's website (koretech.vercel.app). As with any web request, the hosting provider receives your IP address and basic request information. The request contains no sensor readings, identifiers, or settings, and the App does not otherwise contact KORE Tech's servers.
---
# 13. Permissions Used by Torqo
Torqo's Android configuration includes the following permissions.
### INTERNET
**Purpose:** Used for network communication, including advertising services, mediation services, and Firebase Remote Config.
### FLASHLIGHT
**Purpose:** Used to control the device's flashlight/flash hardware for normal, strobe, and SOS modes.
### VIBRATE
**Purpose:** Used for vibration/haptic feedback where implemented by Torqo, including utility interactions or alerts.
Torqo does not request the CAMERA permission. Turning the flashlight on and off does not require camera access on supported Android versions.
Torqo's Android configuration does not include a location permission. It also does not include permissions for camera, contacts, microphone, SMS, phone calls, or storage access.
Third-party SDKs included in Torqo may add standard permissions they need to operate, such as network-state access or the Android Advertising ID permission (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`) added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
---
# 14. Sensor Information
Torqo uses device sensors to provide its utility functions.
The relevant sensors may include:
- Magnetometer / magnetic-field sensor
- Accelerometer
- Gyroscope or other orientation sensors where supported and used
Sensor readings are processed on the device for the relevant utility feature.
Torqo does not intentionally transmit these raw sensor readings to KORE Tech's servers.
Advertising SDKs are not used by KORE Tech to provide the compass, level, or metal-detector functionality.
---
# 15. Data Security and Encryption
KORE Tech takes reasonable steps to use reputable third-party services and current SDKs.
Information transmitted to third-party services is sent through the network connections provided by those services.
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Firebase Remote Config documentation states that Remote Config data is encrypted in transit.
KORE Tech does not control the security mechanisms independently implemented by Unity.
Accordingly, KORE Tech does not make a blanket guarantee concerning the security practices of independent third-party providers.
---
# 16. Data Retention
KORE Tech does not maintain a Torqo user account database.
KORE Tech does not intentionally retain compass readings, level readings, metal-detector readings, or flashlight activity on its own servers.
Third-party providers may retain information processed through their services according to their own retention policies, technical requirements, legitimate business purposes, and applicable laws.
Because KORE Tech does not control the independent retention systems of Google, Firebase, or Unity, this Privacy Policy does not specify a fixed retention period for information processed by those providers.
Users should consult the applicable third-party provider's current privacy documentation for information about retention and deletion.
---
# 17. Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
Torqo does not require a user account and therefore does not maintain an account containing personal information that can be deleted through an in-app account deletion process.
If you believe that KORE Tech directly holds personal information associated with your use of Torqo, you may contact us at:
**Email:** playconsole.kore@gmail.com
Please include sufficient information for us to understand and process your request.
Information held directly by third-party advertising or technology providers may need to be managed through those providers' own privacy tools or request procedures.
Deleting Torqo from your device may stop future collection by Torqo and its SDKs on that device, but it does not necessarily cause third-party providers to immediately delete information they previously processed.
---
# 18. Advertising Privacy Controls
Users may have several ways to manage advertising-related privacy choices, depending on their device, country, and applicable advertising systems.
These may include:
- Android advertising/privacy settings
- Android Advertising ID controls
- Google's advertising settings
- Consent choices presented by the advertising/consent system
- **Settings → Privacy Options** in Torqo, shown where consent rules apply (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), which lets you review or change your advertising consent choices at any time
- Privacy controls offered by individual advertising providers
Changing an advertising identifier or disabling personalized advertising may not remove advertisements completely. It may instead cause advertisements to be less personalized or contextual.
The exact controls available may change as Android and advertising platforms are updated.
---
# 19. Children's Privacy
Torqo is a general-purpose utility application and is not designed to require children to submit personal information.
Torqo does not knowingly request a child's name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photographs, or similar personal information for its core utility functions.
However, Torqo uses third-party advertising SDKs. Advertising and data-processing requirements can be different for children and for applications directed to children.
If Torqo is marketed to children, targeted to children, or enrolled in Google Play's Families program, KORE Tech will review and configure the advertising SDKs and application practices to comply with the applicable Google Play requirements.
Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information to KORE Tech may contact us at:
**playconsole.kore@gmail.com**
Google Play imposes additional requirements concerning children's apps and advertising SDKs.
---
# 20. Third-Party Services and Their Privacy Policies
Torqo relies on third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their respective policies.
Users may review the current privacy documentation of:
- Google / Google Mobile Ads
- Firebase
- Unity (Unity Ads)
KORE Tech does not control the policies, practices, or retention periods of independent third-party companies.
---
# 21. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
- Torqo's functionality changes;
- new services or SDKs are added;
- advertising or mediation configuration changes;
- Firebase services change;
- applicable laws or Google Play requirements change; or
- our data practices otherwise change.
When this policy is updated, the "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated.
Users are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
---

# 23. Summary
Torqo is primarily a local utility application.
The flashlight, strobe, SOS, compass, digital level, and magnetometer-based metal detector use device hardware and sensors to provide their functions. KORE Tech does not require a Torqo account and does not intentionally collect or store the sensor readings used by those utility features on its own servers.
Torqo does, however, use Google AdMob, AdMob mediation with Unity Ads, and Firebase Remote Config.
These third-party services may automatically process information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising identifiers, device and operating-system information, advertising interactions, diagnostic or performance information, and Firebase Remote Config-related information.
Torqo uses Firebase Remote Config to remotely control application configuration, including whether advertisements are enabled or disabled.
Because third-party SDKs process information independently, KORE Tech cannot accurately state that Torqo transmits no information or collects no data. Instead, this policy describes the distinction between Torqo's local utility processing and the information that may be processed by the third-party services integrated into the App.
